Tickets are $30 per person for the cruise and dinner. The meal will be hors d’oeuvres including veggies and dip\, a gourmet cheese tray and mixed nuts followed by a buffet featuring lasagna\, manicotti\, chicken cacciatore\, penne pasta\, Italian meatballs\, salad\, rolls and tiramisu for dessert. Coffee\, tea and water are included in the price and there is a cash bar for additional beverages. The evening is hosted by the Twin Cities Area Chapter of the U.S. Air Force Academy Association of Graduates. This cruise is open to members and guests of both the Chapter and the USAFA Parent’s Club of Minnesota. There are 75 seats for this event\, and signup will close on September 24th. We look forward to seeing you at the event. \nOur boat will depart at 6pm sharp\, please be sure to be AT THE DOCK there at least 15 minutes prior. \nParking near the boat docks often gets tight\, so please allow extra time to park in one of the available ramps and walk to dock\, just in case.

DESCRIPTION:August 25th is Say Thanks Day. Say Thanks Day brings past and present service members and civilians together for an inspiring\, patriotic event with something for everyone. Are you a runner? Take part in a 5k run. Like to walk? Join the 1-mile “patriotic promenade” of walkers. Do you have children? They will love the bounce houses and climbing wall. Would you rather sit back and enjoy the atmosphere? We have you covered. Enjoy live music; fabulous drawings and a must-see skydive into the grounds by the Patriot Parachute Team.  Further information and a link to online registration for the walk or the run is available at the link below. \nAfter founding Minnesotans’ Military Appreciation Fund in 2005\, Eugene Sit set out to engage and inspire all Minnesotans to participate in a walk to say “Thanks” to our service members for their sacrifices. This walk has evolved into “Say Thanks Day” with multiple activities and has continued every year since 2005. Thousands of people over the past 13 years have participated in Say Thanks Day and have continued Mr. Sit’s simple but important mission: Thanking our past and present Minnesota service members.
